A cozy retreat with quirks
The self-service breakfast system and engaging communal kitchen provided a perfect start to the day. I enjoyed the spacious lounge area, offering an inviting space to relax and connect with fellow guests.
The sound insulation was lacking, which made for a noisy night as conversations from adjacent rooms carried through the walls. the lack of staff presence sometimes left me feeling a bit uneasy as a solo traveler.

Warm room with beautiful garden views
I enjoyed my stay, particularly because the room was warm enough, and I had a lovely view of the beautiful garden from my window. The self check-in process was straightforward, which made it easy to settle in. the lack of staff on-site made accessing certain amenities a bit challenging.

The unique charm of the building gives it a character all its own, with antique decor that adds a vintage touch. The communal kitchen is spacious and offers a platform for engaging with other guests, making it a lively place to start your day.
Rooms could use a significant upgrade. the mattresses are painfully uncomfortable, with springs jabbing at you throughout the night. Limited hot water during peak times caused some discomfort, and the shared bathrooms were not as clean as they should be, lacking attention to detail. Some of the decor appeared outdated and marred by scratches and marks, while the sound of banging doors and noisy plumbing disrupted the peace. If you’re looking for a restful stay, you might want to consider that the rooms don't have double glazing, leading to a drafty atmosphere and noise from the outside. Plus, Wi-Fi connectivity was spotty in certain areas, which wasn’t ideal.

The spacious room with a comfortable bed ensured a good night’s rest. Breakfast options like yogurt and cereals were a pleasant surprise, and the communal kitchen allowed for the storage of personal items. the heating could be inadequate at times, and the absence of double glazing made for a drafty atmosphere. Limited Wi-Fi connectivity was another downside, making it difficult to stay connected during the visit.

Spacious rooms and helpful communication
My stay was delightful, mainly thanks to Alan's supportive communication about room locations, which enhanced my friend's wedding experience. The communal kitchen was a nice touch for breakfast, and the spacious rooms provided a much-needed retreat. I did notice that some amenities like cleaning in shared spaces could have been better managed.
